Afterschool Alliance

The Afterschool Alliance was launched to raise awareness to the importance of afterschool programs and advocating for quality, affordable programs for all children. The purpose of the Alliance is to serve as a public resource on and voice for afterschool programs. The web-site includes policy information and program tools.

National Service-Learning Clearinghouse

The Learn and Serve America National Service-Learning Clearinghouse (NSLC) supports the service-learning community in higher education, kindergarten through grade twelve, community-based initiatives and tribal programs, as well as all others interested in strengthening schools and communities using service-learning techniques and methodologies.

The Learning Toolbox

We were especially eager to share the approach with high school students with mild disabilities, their teachers, and their parents. We believe that high school students who use this approach will be better prepared to meet rigorous academic challenges of high school and college. Consequently, the strategies and examples of how to apply these strategies to specific courses have been tailored to the needs of high school students.
